From 17 to 20 November 2021, the 21st World Congress on Sterilization took place in the Swiss city of Geneva. After the cancellation of the previous face-to-face congress in Hong Kong and the virtual edition in 2020, RUMED professionals from all over the world were eager to meet again, following the constraints that an event of this magnitude represents.
The WFHSS is the great meeting point for the entire RUMED community and despite the restrictions and the impossibility of travelling for almost all Asian and African professionals, Geneva has attracted more than 1200 attendees, both professionals and industrial exhibitors, who have taken the opportunity to showcase their new products within RUMED and in the field of infection prevention. As a novelty this year, the event also allowed online registration to view all the scientific conferences live for those attendees who were unable to travel to Geneva.
Many thanks to the Congress organisers and to the customers and friends who visited us during these days, with whom we shared unforgettable moments.
