At the beginning of February, a monographic session was held at the Basque Health Service premises in Vitoria, Álava, entirely focused on the cleaning and disinfection tasks carried out in the hospital Medical Device Reprocessing Units (RUMED).
More than 102 professionals from the Txagorritxu University Hospital, both from the sterilization central and the operating theatre, took part in the session, which was held in two shifts, in order to accommodate the largest number of healthcare professionals. During the workshop, specific questions were prepared and answered live by all the attendees, making the day dynamic and very participative, with a multitude of questions raised.
