On May 2nd, we received at our headquarters in Castelledefels, the complete staff of the reprocessing centre of the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO). It is a public and monographic centre on cancer, which deals with the disease in a comprehensive way, since it integrates, within the same organisation, prevention, assistance, specialised training and research. The Institute belongs to the Department of Health of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
At the request of her supervisor, we held a single session focused on the inspection, preparation and packaging of medical devices, given that the sterilization of all their materials is carried out at the RUMED of the neighbouring Bellvitge University Hospital.
The session was very rewarding, since the professionals had the opportunity to visit our factory and express all their doubts in our demonstration room.
