On 29th March, the 7th seminar on cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of the region of Murcia (Spain), organised by the “Sociedad Murciana de Medicina Preventiva Hospitalaria y Asistencia Sanitaria”, took place at the Reina Sofia University Hospital in Murcia.

A total of 200 healthcare professionals from the region of Murcia and neighbouring provinces took part in a conference with 3 highly interesting scientific round tables, which dealt in depth with aspects related to the reprocessing of medical devices in primary care, as well as the application of the new European regulation that incorporates the possibility of reprocessing single-use medical devices and the reprocessing of biomodels and 3D surgical guides manufactured in hospitals. This last talk was given by the head of MATACHANA’s MIEC Department, Ms. Elena Lorenzo.

During the day, attendees were also able to visit the commercial exhibition, where we were able to exchange fruitful conversations with professionals and colleagues from other companies.

From MATACHANA, we would like to congratulate the organising committee of SOMPRHAS, for this fantastic training work that they carry out year after year, as well as the two hospitals that were awarded for their best poster, specifically, the University Hospital of Donostia and the Hospital of Manacor, in Mallorca.
