Last May 12th, the training and commissioning of the Reprocessing Unit of the Hospital Residencia San Camil, located in the town of Sant Pere de Ribes, Barcelona, took place.
After a remarkable technological modernisation of the surgical area, the company MATACHANA was awarded the contract for the new sterilization central, a service that is located in parallel to the new surgical block, and which is constituted by this equipment:
The session was carried out in two shifts, in order to reach all the healthcare professionals of the Centre who will work both in the operating theatre and in the reprocessing unit itself. In this way, empathy between the two services, which are so dependent on each other, is strengthened.
MATACHANA would like to thank the hospital staff for their commitment and motivation during the training, as well as the management for trusting in our company for this great project, which will surely contribute to the safety of the patients treated in this Health Centre.
