The University of Santiago de Cali was the venue for a talk on the importance of RUMED as a cornerstone of health care. The positive consequences of an adequate treatment at the point of use of instruments throughout the entire process circuit were discussed. In addition, Low Temperature sterilization using Hydrogen Peroxide and Steam with 2% Formaldehyde was discussed.
Finally, at the Instituto para Niños Ciegos y Sordos (Institute for Blind and Deaf Children), experiences were shared and knowledge on table top and large steam sterilizers was updated.
