From 22 to 24 September 2021, MATACHANA participated in the XXI National and X International Congress of the Sociedad Española de Medicina Preventiva Salud Pública e Higiene (Spanish Society of Preventive Medicine, Public Health and Hygiene), held in Santander. This was the first face-to-face meeting in which our company participated again after the cessation of the state of alarm in Spain, so it has had a very special character, marked by the specific restrictions that were applied during the congress.
The event allowed us to greet again many professionals from Spanish hospitals after all these months without in-person contact and, at the same time, facilitated the presentation of two new products within our catalogue of hospital solutions: the BIOVelox® rapid reading incubator, for the new generation of MATACHANA Biological Indicators and the high-level disinfector by UV-C radiation, Germitec Chronos, used for the decontamination of semi-critical ultrasound and ultrasonic probes.
Despite the limitations, the Congress was attended by a large number of people from all over Spain who took advantage of these sessions to share their experiences during the difficult times of the pandemic.
