From 17 to 19 August, the company STRATTNER, MATACHANA’s distributor for Brazil, held the second edition of STRATTNER ON, an online training event, where 27 speakers conducted more than 20 hours of Webinars, sharing experiences and technological innovations in the health sector.
MATACHANA had the honour of participating in 2 presentations. The first, broadcast on 17 August, was in the form of an interview with Maria del Pilar Jojoa, Director of CME in a Colombian hospital. On this occasion, Giovanna Ruiz Beltrán, Clinical Specialist LATAM, conducted the interview, which highlighted the importance of the MATACHANA equipment in RUMED and the contributions of the technology for the reprocessing of devices during the pandemic.
This session also featured guest speaker Prof. Dr. Eliane Molina Psaltikidis, who shared experiences of CME (sterilization unit) in times of pandemic and the challenges that these units and their staff have been subjected to.
The following day, Italo Antonio Mejia, MATACHANA Technical Coordinator for Latin America, gave a talk on the importance of infrastructure and water quality for the proper operation of the equipment in the CME (sterilization unit), highlighting regulatory and technical aspects of the supplies and their effects on the equipment, instruments and the processes themselves.
At the end of the conference, interesting debates were generated with the attendees, confirming that the CME is a strategic axis of healthcare and that it must therefore be equipped with technologies that guarantee patient safety, the importance of human talent, environmental sustainability and evaluating the cost-effectiveness ratio.
