The CITIUS III project Óscar Pintado Animal Experimentation Centre arose from the need to move the animal experimentation centre that the university had had since 1997, more than 20 km from the city, to a location closer to Seville to facilitate its use by researchers. For these reasons, and due to the fact that it was only possible to work with small animals (rodents); as there were no suitable facilities for animals of other larger species, the decision was taken to build a new facility, with a better location and which could cover all the needs.

MATACHANA was appointed by those responsible for this new centre, proposing a series of very important upgrades for the operation and sustainability of the facility. Discover all the highlights in our latest video!
