Last 22nd and 23rd June, took place the official training of the RUMED staff at the Hospital General Universitario Rafael Méndez in the city of Lorca, Murcia, Spain. This event was included in the official commitments acquired by the company MATACHANA after the awarding of the tender in 2020.
More than 12 professionals from the service, divided into two shifts, participated actively during the day, taking the opportunity to ask questions and express their doubts that arose after the first days of operation.
The session, totally practical, enabled us to review, area by area, all the processes that are carried out in the sterilization central and, therefore, to review the operation of the MATACHANA equipment installed in the centre.
From MATACHANA, we would like to congratulate its supervisor, as well as all the staff of the department, for their high implication in the success of the service. The RUMED of the Hospital de Lorca is a pioneer in its region, thanks to the installation of cutting-edge technology that allows to supply, in a transversal way, all the client points of the hospital where medical devices in sterile condition are required.
