MATACHANA AT THE 14TH NATIONAL NURSING CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA

On 24 and 25 August, the XIV Congreso Nacional de Enfermería (National Nursing Congress), IV Simposio de Instrumentación Quirúrgica (Surgical Instrumentation Symposium) and VIII Congreso internacional para el cuidado de la piel y las heridas (International Congress for Skin and Wound Care) was held in Bogotá, Colombia, where Colombian health professionals met to update their knowledge of the central sterilization, minimally invasive surgery, prevention and care of the skin and wounds, as well as other aspects related to current models of nursing care and management.

Giovanna Ruiz Beltrán, MIEC LATAM for the company MATACHANA, participated as a speaker with a presentation entitled “From Central Sterilization to Central Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices” showing relevant aspects on the evolution and transformation that sterilization departments have undergone globally and contrasting these developments with the current reprocessing of medical devices in Colombia.
