On July 1st, in Yokohama; Japan, the JSMI Medical Show 2023 was held. Paco Fernandez, APAC Region Sales Manager attended this congress with MATACHANA partner in Japan, UDONO LTD. During the event, Professor Kubota, (Tokyo Medical and Dental University) participated in scientific part, presenting the case of Tokyo Medical and Dental University Hospital, where a robotic loading and unloading system was implemented just a week prior, using the MATACHANA AL10 robot with the seven washer thermodisinfectors MATACHANA MAT LD1000 and one racks return cabinet.
During the talk, the benefits that a system like this brings to the RUMED workflow were highlighted, as well as the very important improvement from an ergonomic and occupational safety perspective achieved with the implementation of this type of automation.
This presentation generated great interest among the audience, since it is a clear example of how technology can help users in their daily tasks, allowing these professionals to dedicate themselves to much more specific and highly concentrated tasks.
