KNOWLEDGE UPDATE AT THE HOSPITAL OF URDULIZ – ALFREDO ESPINOSA, VIZCAYA – SPAIN

On 9 May, together with the training department of the Urduliz Hospital, in Vizcaya, we held 2 refresher training sessions with the staff of the hospital’s sterilization and operating theatre service. This health centre has a long-standing training tradition with our company, which is why it regularly organises in-depth knowledge sessions with its users.

In this edition, we focused on aspects related to the European Regulation on Medical Devices, as well as the negative consequences on patient safety caused by incorrect reprocessing of our surgical instruments and the lack of adequate quality control and traceability.
