On 27th August, the company BIONUCLEAR, MATACHANA distributor in the Dominican Republic, organised some interesting training sessions at the headquarters of the National Health Service in the city of Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic, which were attended by some 35 professionals from all regions of the country.
The session, which dealt with important topics related to dialysis units, diagnostics, water systems and sterilization, was organised around workshops and included the participation of the MATACHANA Technical Manager for Latin America, Engineer Richard Durán, who gave a theoretical workshop in which aspects of the sterilization centrals design were discussed: sizing, capacities, optimal equipment according to the activity required, the quality of supplies, as well as the importance of the personnel and their training.
During the session, interesting aspects on the sterilization of bio-sanitary waste and other important issues for the correct implementation of these units, strategic and crucial departments to guarantee the correct workflow of our Health Centres, were discussed.
