The academic programme was carefully structured by the \u201cSociedad Cient\u00edfica de Enfermeras Especialistas en Esterilizaci\u00f3n\u201d in Peru (SOCIENEE), with the support of the \u201cFederaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana de Ciencias de la Esterilizaci\u00f3n Hospitalaria\u201d (FELACEH), and was fully aligned with current challenges, promoting the highest technical, scientific and human standards for RUMED in Latin America.<\/p>\n<p>Our MIEC department &#8211; Matachana International Education Center &#8211; was also part of the academic programme, with two presentations that added value from complementary perspectives. Elena Lorenzo gave a lecture from Barcelona on the psychosocial factors that affect the emotional well-being of reprocessing centre staff, addressing with sensitivity and scientific support the technical challenges faced daily by this professional group. For her part, Giovanna Ruiz shared a technical overview of RUMED&#8217;s infrastructure, highlighting how design directly affects process efficiency, patient safety, and the well-being of those who make reprocessing possible every day.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-277010\" src=\"https:\/\/www.matachana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Panamericano_02.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1060px) 100vw, 1060px\" alt=\"Pan-American Congress 2025 \u2013 MATACHANA\" width=\"1060\" height=\"795\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.matachana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Panamericano_02.jpg 1060w, https:\/\/www.matachana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Panamericano_02-980x735.jpg 980w, https:\/\/www.matachana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Panamericano_02-480x360.jpg 480w\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition, the MATACHANA LATAM distributors&#8217; meeting was held alongside the congress, a technical and academic space designed to share scientific updates, reinforce common technical criteria and discuss real-life experiences. The meeting highlighted MATACHANA&#8217;s added value as a company committed to excellence, always focused on promoting best practices in reprocessing.<\/p>\n<p>MATACHANA would like to express its gratitude to the organisers for their hard work and commitment to scientific excellence.
