This new unit, a pioneer in many aspects in the Catalan region, replaces the old service that had become too small and obsolete for the high surgical demand and the complexity of the surgeries performed at the hospital. Among the most significant aspects, we would like to highlight its degree of automation and adaptation to more advanced surgical techniques, such as robotic surgery.<\/p>\n<p>During all these months, the work and installation of the equipment has been carried out by the MATACHANA Technical Assistance Service, with the plan to start work in the last four months of 2024.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-273130 size-full\" style=\"width: 100%; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.matachana.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Trueta_22-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For this objective, it was essential to train all the personnel, so that they could familiarise themselves with the equipment and the new work spaces of the service. More than 30 professionals in 2 shifts have been trained in the most current reprocessing concepts, with the aim of facilitating their adaptation to the new service in a progressive manner.<\/p>\n<p>From MATACHANA, we would like to thank the Health Institution for their drive to organise this conference and their commitment to constant improvement.
