On 20 October 2021, the Sociedad de Medicina Preventiva Hospitalaria y Asistencia Sanitaria of Murcia (Hospital Preventive Medicine and Healthcare) organised its 5th conference on cleaning, disinfection and sterilization. Due to pandemic restrictions, the conference was held in an online format, with the attendance of more than 700 professionals from 17 countries, mainly from Spain and South America.<\/p>\n

For more than 4 hours, several professionals in the field of infection control and prevention shared their knowledge with all participants, refreshing their knowledge and especially, showing some new developments and technical adjustments that hospital services had had to implement during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

\"SOMPRHAS<\/a><\/p>\n

The company MATACHANA participated with an engaging talk delivered by Ms. Elena Lorenzo, on the great challenge of robotic surgery in our RUMED, showing all the solutions that are available to hospitals in each of the stages of their reprocessing.<\/p>\n

The day ended with the awarding of prizes for the best online posters, granted in this edition to the Hospital Universitario Infanta Elena and the Centro de Salud de Algete, both in Madrid.<\/p>\n

We would like to thank the SOMPRHAS Board of Directors, the members of the Comit\u00e9s Organizador y Cient\u00edfico (Organising and Scientific Committees), along with the speakers and moderators who participated in this meeting.
