MATACHANA AT THE 4th AEBIOS CONGRESS: SPANISH BIOSAFETY ASSOCIATION
The 4th congress of the Asociación Español de Bioseguridad (Spanish Biosafety Association) took place in the city of Salamanca on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of October.
With nearly 120 participants, the opening day began with two workshops that were very well attended. In this case, the company MATACHANA, held a talk on "VALIDATION AND GOOD USE OF AUTOCLAVES", delivered by Elena Lorenzo, Infection Control Manager of our company. The conference had a great acceptance and at the end of it, generated an interesting debate on the current use of packaging in biocontainment laboratories.
On the last day of the official program, the director of the MATACHANA Life Science Division, Mr. Jose A. Serón, gave a presentation on the current situation of biocide registration in Spain, depending on the type of application for which the disinfectant is intended. Jose took a retrospective look at the different substances that have traditionally been used as disinfectants, as well as the rules and regulations that affect them. Again, multiple questions were generated and discussed with the participants.
MATACHANA would like to thank the organization of the congress, as well as all the attendees, who during those three days stopped by our stand, enabling us to share mutual experiences. This constant contact helps us to improve our products and always remain at the forefront of new needs that arise in biosafety laboratories.
