On Wednesday 18 June, at 11 am, we had the honour of welcoming  Jordi Hereu,  Mayor of Barcelona

Matachana was the first meeting point in a series of visits the mayor had planned for the day.

The aim was to visit medical technology companies in the 22@ innovation district. The event was also attended by the Managing Director of 22@Barcelona, Josep Miquel Piqué, and the director general of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park, Jordi Camí.
Matachana took part in the event as a company located in the 22@ technology development district with an outstanding record of innovation.

Mr.   Jordi Hereu visited our facilities, focusing his attention on the technical department, looking at current projects as well as future installations.
