Matachana has a direct presence in Argentina, France and Germany, through the Group’s subsidiaries. A new office has recently been opened in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) with the aim of giving better coverage and support to our distributors in the Asia-Pacific Area.


Our principal International activity concerns comprehensive projects for sterilization plants, extending to other lines such as the treatment of potentially infectious waste from healthcare establishments (SBW), morgues and food distribution systems in hospitals or animal houses in research centres.


The staff of our subsidiaries and exclusive consolidated distributors receive ongoing training about products, their applications, oImagen Médicaperation and advantages for the customer, in the Matachana International Training Centre (CEIM) in Barcelona.


MATACHANA has an International Technical Assistance Department, responsible for teaching and training the Technical Assistance staff of the subsidiaries and distributors and guaranteeing them the supplies of original parts and all the information and support they may need.


It is also responsible for onsite supervision when the scale of the project calls for this.The staff working for our subsidiaries and distributors are trained and skilled in giving training on the use of our sterilizers and other equipment. For customers who consider it appropriate, they may attend training courses at MATACHANA’s International Education Centre (CEIM) in Barcelona.



The Division is divided into five main operating areas:

- Africa – Near and Middle East
- Asia – Pacific
- Support for companies working on major health projects (turnkey hospitals) with international financing in any country in the world.
